Rink Refurbishment - Tuesday March 15

On March 15th, the MLSE Team Up Foundation, along with special guests Angela James, Dick Duff, Mike Gartner and Wendel Clark, unveiled its 25th refurbishment project – Angela James rink in the community of Flemingdon Park. The Team Up Foundation will be enhancing the City of Toronto’s investment in this arena with a $250,000 donation to replace the dasher boards, provide new skate matting, create a women’s dressing room and upgrade the current dressing rooms.

Leafs fans from the community had the opportunity to participate in a free public skate at Angela James arena, which included the chance to mingle with the Leafs Alumni as well as Hall of Fame inductee and former Flemingdon Park resident Angela James. The 25th refurbishment celebration and community skate is one of many community building initiatives taking place during the 2 weeks leading up to the Foundation’s inaugural One4One event on March 28th.
